One Night in a Cabin

Inuyasha couldn't believe that they had to get stuck in a little ass cabin for one night and on top of that get separated from the others. This just wasn't his night. The only luck he had was that there were no full moons out.

He was sitting in the middle of the room watching Kagome walk around doing something.

"What are you doing?"

"Making a fire. I found some chopped up wood over there and I got some matches in my bag."

"Oh." Inuyasha said looking away. Feeling a bit stupid for not knowing that.

A while later, Kagome got the fire started. The two sat in silence around it, before Kagome interrupted the silence.

"Well this is nice."

"How is being cooped up in a cabin, from a snowstorm and lost from the others nice?"

"GEEZ! You always have to ruin something."

"What is that supposed to mean."

"Forget it."

They sat in silence again. The fire started to die down.

"Oh no... no please don't go," Kagome said rushing to it and blowing on it a little to make start.

It didn't help, for the fire was gone.

"Those were the last matches too."

It started to get cold in the cabin. Kagome started to shiver. She held her knees to her chest. Trying to keep the warmth. Inuyasha started to look around. He then saw an old  little cabinet. He opened to find a lot of spider webs and a blanket. He took it out and brushed off the webs. He walked over to Kagome, took off his robe and handed it to her.

"Here this will keep you warm."

"Thank you."

Inuyasha felt himself blush. He always felt weak whenever she was nice to him.

They sat in silence once again and soon enough went to sleep. Kagome woke up in the middle of the night because of a bad dream. She turned around suddenly only to be met by Inuyasha's peaceful face. She had an urge to touch his face and she did.  She couldn't believe how soft his skin was. She then moved some of his hair out of his face. She then notice that he was looking at her.  She turned a crimson red and snatched her hand away from him.

"What are you doing?"

"I... umm... you had a... uh... spider on you," Kagome stumbled for words.

Inuyasha moved in closer until their noses touched and their lips mere inches away.

"Well you have a spider on you too," Inuyasha said brushing his lips on hers and then kissing her. Kagome then deepened their kiss. The two fell asleep in eachothers arms, thankful for their one night in a cabin.
